About Me
I'm Alyssa - a mental performance coach for golfers who are tired of getting in their own way.
I know firsthand what it's like to love the game and struggle with it at the same time. To practice for hours and hit it great on the range, only to tighten up when it matters most. To be so hard on yourself that golf stops being fun and starts feeling like a battle against your own mind.
After playing D1 golf and earning my Master's degree in sport psychology, I've gone on to work with hundreds of golfers ranging from top juniors to college players to ambitious amateurs and professionals, helping them build the mental skills to play with genuine confidence, freedom, and trust.
Because at the end of the day, golf is hard. But it doesn't have to feel like you are constantly fighting against yourself.
My Approach
My passion is helping golfers play to their potential, enjoy the game and the process of competing, and thrive both on and off the course.
I know there is no 1-size-fits-all solution when it comes to the mental game. My science-backed approach focuses on helping golfers shift their relationship with thoughts and feelings, play to their strengths, and develop personalized strategies so that they can play WITH doubt, pressure, fear, anxiety, and discomfort. Feelings that are completely normal, but don't have to control you.
Together we will develop personalized strategies to help you play to your strengths and bring your best and most present self to the course each day...no matter what a round may bring.
If you're someone who:
- Plays well in practice but struggles in competition
- Gets in your own head and can't seem to get out
- Feels stuck in perfectionism, fear of failure, or performance anxiety
- Knows the mental game is holding you back, but doesn't know how to change it
You are not alone, and I'd love to help!
